Incenter
Continuing from my triangle work I looked a bit closer into the geometry of triangles and started to experiment with the different points that exist inside a triangle, like the triangles Incenter and Focus. These points, their connection to each other and to points on the three sides of the triangle were then used to generate these pictures.
Triangles
For this work I was using rotating triangles under different conditions. Different sizes, different speed, different mix of colors and a bit of noise. Moving triangles create some astonishing effects as they change their shape. A summer holiday work in Caviggia and Monaco.
Bartleby
Work inspired by Herman Melvilles short story „Bartleby, the Scrivener: A Story of Wall Street“, a masterpiece of short fiction. The famous words of Bartleby „I would prefer not to“ are always an option to think about.
Luce d’Oro
This work was inspired by the G7 summit in summer 2022 in Elmau, Bavaria. The summit took place in a luxury resort that was already hosting the G7 summit in 2015, from which some iconic pictures of Obama and Merkel exist. One of the resorts restaurants name is Luce d’Oro.
